Grandpa's Tomatoes Farmers' Markets - Season 2015

December 2014 - April 2015

Our famous tomato – named after our Grandpa Angie. The seed for Grandpa’s tomatoes has been passed down through the generations of our family.

They are old fashioned, full of flavour and have a unique shape – the way tomatoes were meant to be!

Our Grandpa's Tomatoes will be available again this year at farmers' markets across Melbourne.

A Springtime Tasting

Sunday 23rd November

Sip and taste your way through Spring with a selection of delicious, gourmet products in a market style environment. Stroll through the stands chatting to the makers of our mouth-watering range!

With over 20 Makers and more than 100 products… that’s a whole lot of goodness to sample your way through!

Strawberry Sundae - Berries in the Field

Sunday 23rd November

Our 2nd annual Strawberry Sundae is nearly here!

A day of fun for everyone! Pick your own hydroponic strawberries (no bending required!), enjoy a sundae with berries, choc-dipped strawberries, Devonshire tea or an old fashioned lemon or strawberry-ade, while the kids have a play!

Pull up a patch of grass to listen to the chilled out sounds of our Strawberry Sessions djs, while making an origami strawberry for your chance to win a voucher to use at our farm gate. More details to come...

School Farm Tours

School Terms

Fruit and vegetables don't come from a freezer or the supermarket and carrots don't grow on trees! Do you have a kitchen nutritional program at school?

Our aim is to educate children on where their fruit and vegetables really come from. We tour the farm and get hands on with everything from learning how to seed, plant and harvesting fruit and vegetables.

Depending on the season, we encourage children to sample produce that they have just picked... strawberries, Dutch carrots, Grandpa's tomatoes and more!

Tomato Slam 2015

Sunday 15th March

Tomato Slam and Meet the Makers will be back in March 2015!

Learn how to make your own pasta and gnocci, sample products available at the farm gate, dive into a bin of tomatoes and enter a bottle of your Nana's secret Tomato Sauce recipe into our competition to win a farm gate voucher. Entertainment and kids activites throughout the day!

Pick Your Own Hydroponic Strawberries

This summer, we will be open Thursday - Monday each week. With our unique design, we offer an experience that is great day out for young and old!

Once you have picked your berries, head over to the Juice Bar for a refreshing Strawberry Shake made from our hydroponic strawberries, 99.9% fat free Colombo and organic milk.
